Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam is an exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission for the selection of eligible candidates for the posts of Auditors and Accountants for the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IAAD). This department is functioning under Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of Indian Government. The candidates are selected for the maintaining of accounts and audits for different departments under Central Government. The exam is very difficult and large numbers of candidates apply for the test each year. The exam is conducted two times in a year.

Structure of Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam

The recruitment of the candidates for the Auditors and Accountants is on the basis of the written test. The written test consists of objective type format of multiple choice questions. The test consists of 200 questions and the time allotted for the exam will be of two hours. Each question is provided with four options. From the given alternatives, correct answer has to be selected by the candidates and they need to mark it in the OMR answer sheet. The test is to evaluate the candidates’ general intelligence, general awareness, English language and Mathematics. The questions for the test will be asked in English and Hindi.

Eligibility Criteria for Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam

The candidates who have a degree from any recognized University in any discipline can apply for the Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam. The age limit of the candidates must be between 18 and 25 years. The age relaxation is provided for the SC/ST candidates and other reserved category candidates. Other candidates who are working in different departments can apply for the test and they are provided with certain relaxations.

How to Apply for Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam?

The exam notification for the Accountants and Recruitment exam will be published in almost all leading news papers of India. The candidates have to prepare the application form as per the format given in the notification. The completed form should be send to the Staff Selection Commission with a Central Recruitment Fee Stamps available from any Post Offices. The SC/ST/PH candidates and the female candidates are exempted from the payment of application fee.

How to fill the Form for the Accountants and Auditors Recruitment Exam?

The form should be as per the format suggested in the exam notification. The form should be filled by the candidate himself. The application form may be in the written or typed format. A clear photograph with plain background must be affixed in the place provided in the form. The data entered in the form should be using a black pen. The signature of the candidates and their guardian must be clear and should be there in the appropriate column for that. The Central recruitment Fee Stamp should be send with the form. The filled form should reach before the last date with all enclosures.
