Rajasthan Public Service Commission is famous as RPSC. The commission came into existence in the year 1949 after the recommendation of LEE commission for setting up a Central Public Service Commission in the country. The strength of the commission is one Chairman and two other general members. The two regulations announced under the provisions of Constitution of India are Rajasthan Public Service Commission Regulation (Condition of Service), 1951 and The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation 1951.

Job Profile:

Rajasthan Public Service Commission is going to conduct examination for making recruitment of eligible candidates on the following positions of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (Engineering), Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (Agriculture), Assistant Fisheries Development Officer, Chemist, Assistant Town Planner, Assistant Electrical Inspector and Dietician.

1. Recruitment of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (Engineering):
No. of posts: Only 3 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Degree in concerned Engineering from a university established by law in India with working knwoledge of Hindi written in devnagari script.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

2. Recruitment of Assistant Soil Conservation Officer (Agriculture):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Degree in concerned Engineering from a university established by law in India with working knwoledge of Hindi written in devnagari script.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

3. Recruitment of Assistant Fisheries Development Officer:
No. of posts: Only 4 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 35 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Zoology with Fisheries as a special paper from a university established by law in India.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.

4. Recruitment of Chemist (Rajasthan State Archives):
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 to 42 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with atleast 50% marks in aggregate from a university established by law in India.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.

5. Recruitment of Assistant Town Planner (Planning Research):
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 20 to 37 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Graduation degree in concerned discipline from a university established by law in India.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

6. Recruitment of Assistant Electrical Inspector:
No. of posts: Only 6 posts are available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 21 to 37 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: Degree in Electrical Engineering or its equivalent from a university established by law in India.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.

7. Recruitment of Dietician:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Age Limit: Candidates should be between 16 to 35 years of age as on 1 January 2012.
Educational Qualification: B.Sc. Degree in concerned discipline from a university established by law in India.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 3600.

Application Fee:

Rs. 250 is the amount of application fee that is need to be submitted by General category candidates. OBC category candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 150 only. SC/ST categories candidates are required to submit an application fee of Rs. 50 only.
