Civil Services Physics Prelims Papers
There are many who aspire to be at the posts like IAS, IPS, and IFS etc. they need to crack the civil services examination. This exam is held every year by the Union Public Service Commission. These jobs are desired for prestige as well as power. They are at the top of the government job hierarchy. The civil services examination is not an easy one to clear. The exam is really tough as far the syllabus of it and the competition in it are concerned. There are two phases of the exam. The first phase is the prelims. Those who get through the prelims are eligible to sit for the mains. There is a wide range of subjects to choose from, Physics being one of them. The pattern of the Physics prelims exam is given below.
Paper Pattern
The marks carried by the Physics exam are 300. 3 hours are given for the paper. The paper has 120 objective type questions. The questions carry equal marks. The framing of the questions is such that the entire syllabus is covered by it. There are four options with each question. Marks are deducted for the incorrect answers. Multiple answers are also treated to be wrong.
