These professionals analyze the confidential data recovered from computers to collect evidence for crimes. They recover secret information such as passwords or emails and data from encrypted or erased files as part of the investigation process. They prepare the detailed report of their findings for the presentation of the same in the court. The candidate should possess adequate educational qualifications and analytical skills to do well in the job.

Qualifying Exam

The candidate has to qualify graduate level exams in area of computer forensics or related area to become a Computer Forensics Investigator. Bachelor degree in disciplines of Computer science, information technology and information systems security will also help.
