Qualifying Exam
Candidates who aspire to become lawyers must appear for the Common Law Admission Test exam. They can appear for this after the completion of their 10+2 class. The admission of the students is based strictly on the marks scored in this examination.
Who is eligible to apply?
Candidates who are appearing for this course must be Indian citizens. They ought to be atleast 22 years at the time of applying. Those who want to become criminal lawyers must have finished their LLM course. They can specialize in criminal law after the completion of this course. Candidates who wish to apply for the LLB course must have completed their BA LLB course. They have to obtain a minimum of 55% marks in the final exams. Candidates of the backward categories should score no less than 50% marks. Those candidates who are in their final year can also apply.
