Eligibility Criterion and Admission Process

Higher secondary education from a recognized board of studies with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate is the basic educational qualification required for this course. Candidates belonging to reserved categories can avail relaxation up to 5 % in terms of marks. Candidates who have completed 18 years of age at the time of admission are also eligible. Upper age limit is 35 years. Candidates belonging to reserved category can avail relaxation up to 5 years.

Application Procedure

Candidates who seek admission to Diploma in education are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 25/- by taking a demand draft in favour of Government of West Bengal School Education Directorate and apply in the prescribed format. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of School Education Directorate. Admission will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
