Eligibility Criterion for Recruitment in Indian Rare Earths Limited

Candidates having following educational qualifications are eligible to apply for below mentioned posts in IREL.

Technical Department: Candidates who have completed Bachelor of Technology/ Engineering in Chemical Engineering are eligible to apply for the post of Senior Manager. Such candidates should have a minimum of 12 years experience in relevant field. In case of candidates who have completed post graduation in chemical engineering, the required period of work experience is 10 years. Those who have obtained Ph.D are required to have professional experience up to 8 years. Upper age limit is 45 years.
Materials: Candidates who have completed full time Bachelor of Engineering/ Technology in any of the following subjects and Post Graduate Degree or Diploma/ MBA in Materials Management are eligible to apply.

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Metallurgy Engineering
• Mining Engineering
• Mineral Engineering
• Civil Engineering

Those who have completed courses from a recognized University or approved by AICTE are only eligible to apply. They should have at least 9 years of professional experience in procurement, inventory management. Candidates are required to have proficient knowledge in Public tender, development of new vendors, global tenders and negotiation etc. Those who are conversant with management tools such as SCM, SRM will be given special preference. Maximum age limit allowed is 40 years.

Environment: Candidates who have completed Master of Engineering/ Technology in Environmental Engineering from a recognized University are eligible. They should have 4 years experience in relevant field.
Human Resources: Those who have completed Post Graduate diploma/ degree or MBA in Human Resource Management/ Industrial relations/ Personnel Management from any institute approved by AICTE are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed graduation in Law will be given additional preference. In addition to this, candidates should have at least 3 years professional experience. Upper age limit required is 38 years.

Finance: Candidates who have passed the final examination of Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant are eligible to apply. They should have a minimum of 12 years of post qualification experience. Candidates are required to have computer literacy. Those who are more than 45 years are not eligible to apply.

Age Relaxation

Candidates who are belonging to ST/ SC and physically challenged can seek upper age limit up to 5 years. Upper age limit for candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes is relaxable up to three years. Those who are belonging to Non Creamy Layer category are only eligible for age relaxation.
