Fee structure of B.Sc. (Biotech)
Biotechnology, or the combination of Biology and Technology, is the application of Biology in the improvement of mankind, and humanity. It uses the technique of Genetic Engineering and Recombinant DNA Technology, to develop High Yielding Varieties of Crops, and also used in Animal Husbandry. Due to high demands in the Research field, it has become a hot career field at present. And hence, various institutes in India are offering courses in Biotechnology. B.Sc. in Biotechnology is a 3 year undergraduate course, and various colleges and institutes offer the course.
The fee structure of some of the top institutions is as follows:
Garden City College, Bangalore: The per semester fee for the B.Sc. Biotechnology course in the college is Rs. 40,000, and hostel charges and other charges are extra. Scholarships up to 75% are provided to meticulous and needy students.
T. John College, Bangalore: The College is cheaper in comparison to the Garden city College, with Rs. 25,000 per semester as the tuition fee. Hostel charges are also extra.
Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar: The University offers B.Sc. Biotechnology with a semester fee of Rs. 20,000 per semester, and scholarships to needy students are also provided.
University of Delhi: The University of Delhi provides a B.Sc. Biotech for Rs. 25,000 per semester since it is a non UGC funded course. For UGC funded course the course fee is much less.
Amity University, Noida: The fee to study B.Sc. Biotech in Amity University is Rs. 42,500 per semester for non-sponsored students and Rs. 63,750 for the sponsored category. Scholarships are however provided to students with merit.
VIT University, Vellore: Vellore Institute of Technology offers a B.Sc. Biotechnology for a semester fee of Rs. 55,000 per semester. The high fee for the institute is masked by the quality of education in this Grade institute.
Calcutta University: B.Sc. Biotechnology in CU comes at a cost for Rs. 10,000 per semester.

hi, which university and clgs is best in India for doing my M.Sc. biotech course
