No, you are not eligible to appear for Joint Entrance Examination conducted for admission of candidates in B.Tech/B.E courses.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is candidate must have passed 10+2 or appearing for 10+2 from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main paper.

So, you cannot appear for examination after diploma course. To get more information about JEE visit at www.jeemain.nic.in.

Yes, Diploma holders are eligible to appear in JEE Main and Advance examination. They are allowed to appear in JEE Main examination as it is the gateway to appear in JEE Advance examination. Remember that Diploma holders JEE Main examination result can't be used to get admission in NIT as, NITs does not offer lateral entry admission. But, they can appear in JEE Main examination to appear in JEE Advance examination to get admission in IIT.

The maximum number of attempts allowed to allowed to appear in JEE Main examination is 3 times and JEE Advance examination is 2 times that too in consecutive years after completion of your 12th standard.

You have completed 12th standard, So you are eligible for JEE exam.

If you have completed 12th standard from a recognized board with physics, chemistry and mathematics with above 50% marks, then you are eligible for JEE Advanced exam. 5% marks relaxation is provided for SC/ST category candidates.

Your age should be in between 17 to 25 years.
