How can I get admission to study B.Tech through Lateral Entry in Mumbai University being a Diploma Mechanical Engineer?


Hi Sir,
I have completed my Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. I want to study B.Tech from Lateral Entry in Mumbai University. Can you tell me how can I get admission?

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for B.Tech thorough lateral entry after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. You are directly eligible for B.Tech 2nd year after competing Diploma.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates who want to get admission they must have passed 10th from a recognized board.
  • Candidates need to score at least 50% marks in 10th board exam.
  • The candidate can get direct admission after 10th standard.
  • Candidates are required to qualify in the entrance exam conducted by the Mumbai University.
