Yes, mathematics is essential for D.Pharmacy course.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard with PCM from a recognized board are eligible for diploma in Pharmacy.

Your age should be above 18 years.

Eligibility to pursue diploma in pharmacy:

Candidate must have passed 12th with physics, chemistry, mathematics / biology and English as the main subjects with minimum 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories in final exams from recognised board.

Minimum age should not be less than 17 years.

Top universities conduct entrance exam which you have to qualify.



Hence as a Biology student you are eligible to pursue this course.

No, maths is not required for diploma in pharmacy course. You just need PCB stream in class 12th to become eligible for this course.

Admission will be on the basis of entrance exam which is mostly conducted along with polytechnic entrance exam.
