Possibility to study B.Sc(IT) for Diploma Software Engineering student?


Hello guys, I am studying Diploma in Software Engineering. I want to do B.Sc in IT instead of B.Tech after my Diploma. So, this is possible for me or not?

Since, you have completed Diploma course in Software Engineering, you can very apply for B.Sc course in IT.
Candidates those who have completed their class 12th examination or equivalent from a recognized Board with studying PCM as a subject combination can definitely apply for the B.Sc course in IT.

Yes, there is a possibility for you to pursue B.Sc in Information Technology course after successful completion of Diploma in Software Engineering course. But You may find good number of job opportunities as well as career opportunities after completion of B.Tech/ B.E course.

B.Tech/ B.E course has high scope rather than B.Sc course, hence I would suggest you to think once again and choose. As you are from Diploma in Software Engineering background, it's better for you to choose Bachelor's Degree course.

B.Sc course is basically suitable for teaching line and of course this course can be done after completion of Diploma course. But job opportunities differ based on the course you choose after Diploma course. After completion of studies, you may find employment opportunities in Small Scale IT Industries, Top MNC Companies, PSU organizations..etc.,
