Sir,
How many subjects are required to study
in Diploma in Mechanical Engineering course
if I am holding 70% marks in ITI Fitter?
Please tell me about this.

Basically diploma in engineering course is divided into six semesters. Each semesters contain mainly five subjects and 3-4 practical subjects. Some semester's have four subjects. So you have to study five subjects in one semester and thirty subjects through out your diploma. Practical subjects are internal subjects while other are external.

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering is a three year course and in most of the universities this course duration is divided into six semesters. Each semesters have five subjects aggregate and three lab/practical subjects. Basically practical subjects exam is organised by college thus these are internal subjects.

So over all number of subjects you have to face are :-

In 1st Semester :- 5 External Subjects & 3 Internal Subjects.
In 2nd Semester :- 4 External Subjects & 2 Internal Subjects.
In 3rd Semester :- 5 External Subjects & 3 Internal Subjects.
In 4th Semester :- 4 External Subjects & 2 Internal Subjects.
In 5th Semester :- 5 External Subjects & 3 Internal Subjects.
In 6th Semester :- 4 External Subjects & 2 Internal Subjects.

Thus in total you have to study 42 subjects including practical subjects.
