Can I apply for Education Loan of Rs. 8.5 Lacs including Internship fee?


Hi,
I want to get Education Loan of Rs. 8.5 Lacs for doing MBA course. But the course fee is Rs. 7.5 Lacs and the remaining Rs. 1 Lac is for the Internship which they will provide. So, I can apply for Rs. 8.5 Lacs?

Yes, you can apply for education loan of 8.5 lakhs even though the course fee is 7.5 lacs and rest one lac is for internship provided by the institute. Since internship is a part of your curriculum so you can definitely charge education loan against it. However, you need to make sure that you have valid proof of such internship money demanded by your college. This is because without valid proof, bank will not include the internship money under its education loan scheme.
