i'm in 12 class & i want to know that how can i study for aipmt exam as well as 12 class. bcoz aipmt of next year will be on april & may so we will not get time to prepare & i also don't want to take drop? so plzzzz tell me how can i prepare????

Seat distribution at AIPMT is such that
SC- 15% ST- 7.5% OBC- 27% Physically handicap- 3%So, rest of all seats are for General Candidates. For general it will be around 600-700 seats are available. All the best. |

yes, there are 15% seats are availiable for SC candidates and 37.5% seats are for ST, OBC and PH candidates and 47.5% seats are availiable for general candidates only........... thanks |

Hi dear,
Seat distribution at AIPMT is such that SC- 15% ST- 7.5% OBC- 27% Physically handicap- 3% So, rest of all seats are for General Candidates. One fact is also that even being a All India entrance AIPMT has 15% seats reserved for under all India Quota ofr MBBS and BDS. Thanks |

As per the AIPMT site,
SC candidates take up 15% of the quota, 7.5% for ST and 27% for OBC. Accomodating 3% PH students, out of the 2500+ odd seats, there are roughly 750 seats for general candidates. Cheers, |

A.I.P.M.T. - All India Pre-Medical Test All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination, 2012. 15% seats for SC candidates 7.5% seats for ST candidates 27% seats for OBC candidates 3% seats for PH candidates Eligible Criteria : 1. Age : The candidates having age 17 to 25 years are eligible for this aspect. 2. Educational Qualification : A candidate must have to get at least 60% marks through out its carrier. Procedure : The entrance examination consists of: Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination would consist of one paper containing 200 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours. Final Examination: (Only for those who qualify in the Preliminary Examination). The Final Examination would consist of one paper containing 120 objective type questions (four options with single correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology) to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable sheet using Ball Point Pen only. The duration of paper would be 3 hours. Schedule of Examination : PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION 01-04-2012 (SUNDAY) FINAL EXAMINATION 13-05-2012 (SUNDAY) good luck. |

HI dear,
The AIPMT or the All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is held for filling up the 15% merit seats for MBBS/BDS in the Medical/Dental Colleges across India. Now coming to the question of total percentage of seats for general cadidates, it comes to around 47.5% seats after the special quotas for SC candidates(15%), ST candidates (7.5%), OBC candidates (27%) and Physically handicapped candidates (3%) are taken into consideration.
