Sorry to say but you cannot appear in the IAS Civil Services Examination.

This is because of the following reason :

* Age Limit :



From the above information , you can see that only candidates in the age bracket of 21-30 years are eligible for the same if they belong to General Category.

The educational qualification regarding with IAS are below mentioned:-

* A candidate must have finished graduation from any recognised college/university.

* A candidate must be an Indian.

* Age relaxation- 3 years(OBC) and 5 years(SC/ST).

* Age criteria- The age of a candidate must be lie in between 21-30 years.

IAS - Indian Administrative Service

IAS Aspirants first crack the Civil Examination, this examination is conducted by Union public Service Commission in yearly ones.

Age Limit for Civil Examination

For General Candidates

The Minimum age is - 21 years

The Maximum age is - 30 years

Educational Qualifications

Candidates have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university

Final year appeared students also eligible for this examination

There is no percentage required for this examination

The acronym for IAS is Indian Administrative Services.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for IAS examination because of your age.

The eligibility criteria required for IAS examination are prescribed as below:-


* Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality- Indian.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for I.A.S exam at the age of 31 year.

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Qualification:- Pass graduation with any stream from recognized university.

Age limit:-
For Open category:- 21-30 year
For OBC category:- 21-33 YEAR
For ST/SC category:- 21-37 year

Number of Attempts:-
For open category:- 4 attempts
For ST/SC category:- 7 attempts

In I.A.S exam there are three stage Of selection:-
> PRELIMS EXAM
> MAINS EXAM
> INTERVIEW
> MEDICAL EXAM(FOR I.P.S)

IAS - Indian Administrative Service, to become an IAS officer one has to crack Civil Service Exam conducted by UPSC every year.

The age limit for IAS for General Category candidate is from 21 to 30 years which the upper age is relaxed for reserved candidate.

Apart from this the candidate aspiring for IAS, Civil Service Exam, must be an Indian National having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University.

To become an IAS Officer you have to appear in the UPSC Civil Services Exam(CSE).

UPSC CSE is conducted every year for aspiring candidates

to fill a total of 24services/posts.

Eligibility For CSE :

Age Limit :
General Category-21-30yrs on 1st August of the year of exam
OBC-21-33yrs
SC/ST-21-35yrs
Since your age is 31yrs and you belong to general category,very sorry to inform you that you are not eligible to appear in UPSC CSE.
Infact female candidates are encouraged to apply to CSE by UPSC,they are exempted from any fee payment.

Educational Qualification :
Minimum educational qualification to appear in the CSE is,
Graduation Degree or Equivalent in any discipline from a UGC/AICTE recognised University.Percentage is not a criteria to apply.
Final year appeared/appearing candidates can also apply provisionally.

Attempts :
General Category-4 times
OBC-7 times
SC/ST-Unlimited times

hi
this is sorry to inform you that you cannot apply for the IAS exam as you have overcome the maximum age limit. Because for the general category, the maximum age for giving the exam is 30 years of age and a maximum of 4 attempts is given to the general category candidate.
The criteria for obc category is 21-33 years of age and 7 attempts.
For sc/st students, 21-35 years of age and there is no limit for the number of attempts.
