Re: Is chemical engineering good?
Quote:
chemical engineering is a very good engineering line and have a good scope in the future . the chemical engineering the chemical engineers are responsible for the conception and design of processes for the purpose of production, transformation and transportation of materials. This activity begins with experimentation in the laboratory and is followed by implementation of the technology to full scale production. The large number of industries which depend on the synthesis and processing of chemicals and materials place the chemical engineer in great demand.; In addition to traditional examples such as the chemical, energy and oil industries, opportunities in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, electronic device fabrication, and environmental engineering are increasing. The unique training of the chemical engineer becomes essential in these areas whenever processes involve the chemical or physical transformation of matter. i have providing you the list of the chemical engineering colleges given below : 1. Re: Is chemical engineering good?
The scope for chemical engineers is tend to grow in future due to industrial expansion and the related scarcity of resources needed. They may be demand as they work to create synthetic replacements for those natural materials and resources that are in short supply. Overall chemical engineers could make very important contributions for the improvement and maintenance ofthe quality of life.so i advice you to go for this branch.

Re: Is chemical engineering good?
HI
Chemical Engineering is a core branch so its scope is always good. Let me explain it in a better way. What can you think will be future need of India or any other company? If you say, Energy, food, shelter. Then yes, you are correct. Oil and GAs is the energy sector, and something any country cant do without. Chemical Engineering deals with it. like IOCL, ONGC, BPCL, HPCL, Reliance, Essar. If you say food. then Chemical engineering deals with fertilizers like NFL, RCF etc If you say shelter, then Chemical engineering deals with Cement sector, polymer, clothings etc You can find chemical engineering in every thing associated with you. Scope is good and so is the salary package if you get into good company. Oil and gas is the highest paying job in the world All the best |
