i got 106 in jee mains 2014 without any coaching or tutions . i think that i cud hve scored more. therefore i want to drop a year so that i can score more than 200 and get a good nit or bits .plz suggest me?

jee mains was a great disaster for me....evry thing went wrong for me.....i had prepared for iit jee since last two years...but couldn't qualify.... I want to drop a year and prepare for it...many friends said that u will loose 1 year....then i want to ask what is the harm of 1 year back????

I have scored 85% in my board exams and 80 in jee mains i didn't qualify and didn't scored a good marks in eamcet too
so i am planning for a long term in iit and want to drop a year is that safe??

I want to take drop for preparation for iit but my parents said take admission in any good college and then study for iit from there. Now I m totally confused please some one guide me that should I go to college and side by study for iit or just a drop.
