i passed gate with 98.85 percentile and my all india rank is 170. i'm in msc second year. I wanna go for PhD in Biotechnology. What are the colleges offering PhD in Biotech through GATE? what would i have to do now after the gate results are declared? is gate enough for getting selected in a reputed college.

The Online submission of Application Form is closed already before the declared date 21-03-2012. I have been unable to submit application, what should I do now ? http://admissions.iisc.ernet.in/ says :

Due to some technical problem, the access will be restored shortly.
Extension of time to submit the application will be provided.

Can you enlighten on this, please.

IISC STANDS FOR INDIAN INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE.

any candidates who apply to the Ph D programme should qualify in the IISc Entrance Test 2012. The short-listing of candidates for interview is done based on the performance either in the IISc Entrance Test. Interviews are held during May 28 - 30, 2012. Selection will be based on the combined performance in the Test and in the Interview.

I am an INSPIRE SCHOLAR( registration number 1061/2009) and completed B.Sc. with mathematics and physics in the year 2012 with 60.2% of marks from C.S.J.M. UNIVERSITY,KANPUR.
I wanna get admission at IISC for the year 2013 in M.Sc. P.hd. course for mathematics with the preference of INSPIRE SCHOLARSHIP.
So please suggest me am i able for this course?

i completed my M.Sc biotechnology in SVIMS university now am having DST-INSPIRE fellpwsip from 8th july2014 to 8th july 2015 so am requesting you to tell me is there entrance exam is complsory or not and suggest me how can i approch proffesors , am very much intrested to contineu my research work.
