Anyway, there are many projects done to improve the agricultural methods. You have to regularly see the newspapers to find out whether you can get some places. You don't worry about jobs. you'll surely get them. The only thing is you have to try for them. Having a B.Tech in Agriculture will surely earn you a job. I don't whether you have placement cell in your institution. Better contact them.
If you would like to go to some other fields for higher education, then you need not worry. You can choose any field relating to BIO and you can continue with it.

hello sir i am student of ag. Engg. 2nd year. I have done polytechnic within ag. And i want to go resarch and dovelopmet so plz tell me what should i do.

if ur interested in teaching field it is better to do m tech after b tech.
if you are seeking for private jobs, there are so many vacancies in companies of agricultural machineries as sales engineer/ field engineer(eg: john dheere, vst tillers and tractors etc), drip irrigation companies as design engineer/ sales engineer (eg: jain irrigation systems limited, netafim, finolex plasson etc).
if you are interested in processing field, you can search for jobs in food industries such as cadburies.
