For C.B.I you have to qualify the entrance exam conducted by Staff Selection Commission.

Eligibility For C.B.I:-
> Pass graduation with any stream from Recognized University
> The age limit is 21-27 year.
For ST/SC candidate is 21-30 year
> Candidate must be citizen of India.

It so good to see that you are interested IN central bureau of Investigation. It is a job that can give you immense satisfaction and can increase you market value to a greater extent. See SSC has the responsibility to recruit people for central bureau of investigation. The post for which recruit process occurs is CBI sub inspector and to get recruited you have to take the exam of SSC combined Graduate level.

Eligibility of SSC CGL is as follows :-

A candidate must be a graduate
Graduation must be done from a recognized university
Age limit is 20-27
No relaxation to General candidates
Relaxation is given to SC ST and OBC candidate
No minimum percentage limit
No subject criteria
Exam is conducted once in a year

You have missed this year's registration as the last date is already gone

Exam is conducted in two phase followed by an Interview. Exam consist questions from Maths, English, Reasoning and General awareness. There will be Physical exam also and after that you will get into CBI.

C.B.I. stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.


C.B.I is controlled by the Ministry of Personnel.

You can apply for Combined Graduate preliminary Examination.

It is conducted by SSC (Saff selection Commission) once in a year.

>> You can apply for required posts which is given below:-

1] Senior Public Prosecutor

2] Sub-Inspector

3] Assistant Public Prosecutor

>> Eligibility Criteria for this exam :-

* Educational Qualifications :-

a] The candidae must have passed his/ her graduation from any recognized university.

b] The candidate who is appearing in final year can also apply for this exam.

* Age limit :-

a] For Inspectors :- The age of the candidate must be between 18 to 27 years.

b] For Assistant Grade and SI post :- The age of the candidate must be between 20 to 25 years.

c]There is also a upper age limit relaxation provided to 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates.

*Physical Requirements :-

a] The height of the men must be 165 cms.

b] The height of the women must be 150 cms.

>>Selection Procedure for this exam is given below :-

a]Written test

b] Personal Interview

c] Medical Test.


>> The syllabus of this exam is given below :-

a] General Reasoning

b] General Awareness

c] Numerical Aptitude

d] English Comprehension
