Hii firend.

Qualification upto 10th standard is not enough to join at indian army. You need to complete 12th and you have to give NDA exam. You have to give a medical certificate with clearing all the diseases. You have to complete 17 years and the most important thing is that your height should be more than 6 feet.

But the better option for you to go for 12th standard.After completion of your 12th standard you are eligible for NDA exam.

The eligibility criteria for NDA exam is given below.

1.) 10+2 pass candidates with physics , chemistry , maths with a minimum of 70% marks.

2.) Age limitation is 16.5-19 years.

3.) The eyesight should have 6/6.

4.) The height should be 157.5 cm with 5 cm chest expansion.

To join Indian army first of all you should be physically and medically fit.

And you must be able to qualify Physical exam.

After 10th you can't become Officer but you would only be becoming a soldier in technical trade.

For recruitment join Rallies and you must be in regular in touch with Newspapers.

Yes you can join in indian army as a soldier after your 10th standard as a educational qualification.

As an Soldier, one may join in
the following branches:

1.General Duty,

2.Soldier technical,

3.Soldier (clerk post ),

4.Nursin assistant.

You can go for any of the above mentioned soldier jobs.

You cannot join Indian Army on the basis of 10th.

You can join by appearing in NDA examination conducted by UPSC twice in a year. Minimum educational qualification for this exam is to be 10 2 passout with any of the stream. Height must not be less than 157 cm and weight according to height. Age must be in between 16 1/2 to19 years.

You should continue your studies atleast upto 12th standard so that to seek a good carrier in defence forces.

no you can't join Indian army after 10Th.firstly you should either complete your +2 class in any stream then after you can give a test of NDA or you should complete your graduation then after you are eligible to go to Indian army.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to make entry into Indian Army soon after completion of your 10th class. Because the minimum academic qualification with which a candidate can make entry into Indian Army is by completion of 12th class with any of the stream from a recognized institute.

For this, the candidate has to crack NDA Exam which is going to be condudcted by UPSC twice a year.

If the candidate has got through the written exam, he will be called for Interview. A mere qualifying in Interview, the candidate has to go through the medical test.

After fulfilling physical requirements also, the candidate will be given admission to join in Indian Army.

In order to be eligible for NDA Exam, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years.

Apart from this, one should be an unmarried male candidate to take up this exam.

So, I suggest you to join in 12th class with any of the stream and take NDA Exam in the final year of your 12th class.

If you have attempted NDA Exam in the final year of your 12th class, you should be able to show the proof of passing in 12th class when you appear for Interview.

no you are not eligible for apply NDA exam because your just complete 10th stands , min qualification for NDA is 12th stands so first of all complete 12th stands

You can not join Indian Army after class 10th. The recruitment process for Officer recruitment usually starts when a candidate clear the exam of class 12th so as of now you are not eligible for officer rank posts.

You are now eligible for lower ranks posts such as Sweeper, cleaner, Barber, washerman etc. If you want to get into Army with these kinda posts then you can go for the rally which is organized time to time in the different part of India.

If you want to go for a Officer rank post then you must go for NDA exam. NDA exam is a Exam conducted by UPSC where candidates are taken and after that a 5 years of Study cum training is done at Khadakwasla which is nearer to Pune, The reason of training camp to be in Pune is the lush green atmosphere as well as availability of Airbase nearby.

NDA Eligibility ;-

1. 16.5-19 years of age
2. No relaxation
3. Only Males candidate can apply
4. Only Indian citizen are eligible
5. Only unmarried candidate are eligible
6. Maths and Physics should be compulsory subject for Airforce and Navy
7. For Army no subject barrier

You have to enroll yourself to NDA at WWW. upsc.gov.in and after that you will be called by the upsc for the examination. and if you clear both written as well as Physical round then you will be selected by NDA.

The process and eligibility criteria to join in Indian Army is as follows:

* candidate need to apply for towards the notifications

*Then he must wait for the call,..or else you must submit your documents in the particular army campus as per the requirements

*then you will be getting the date for the written test and for the events like running 800 metres and 100 metres,long jump and high jumps,etc..

*you have to pass all the events or atleast 80% in all the events..

*Before you go to the events one should know whether he is eligible or not in the height,weight,chest etc...

*candidate should be passed 10th from any recognised Board

*candidate should be b/w 171/2 - 23 years

*candidate should be minimum 150cms of height.

*chest with an expansion of 5cms

*one more important thing the training period will be very hard that you would never and ever forget that period..but it leads to a good and better life..you must face it at any cost,

dear it is not past come in present because now minimum qualification is that candidate must be in 12th or 12th passed then give the exam of nda taken by upsc twice in a year for this candidate must be 16 1/2 to 19 year. For entering in to the Indian Army basic qualification is 10th.

You may apply for Following Categories of Junior Commissioned Officer or Other Ranks in Indian Army with your 10th educational qualification.

>> Soldier (General Duty) ;

Educational Qualification:-SSLC/Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 32% in each subject.No percentage considered in case candidates has passed higher qualification i.e 10+2 and above.

Age Limit:-17 1/2 to 21 Years.

>> Soldier Tradesmen :

Educational Qualification:-10th/ITI(except Syce,Mess Keeper and House Keeper-who may be 8th Pass).

Age Limit:- 17 1/2 to 23 years.

>> Soldier General Duty(Matric Simple pass) ;

Educational Qualification:- 10th Simple pass.

Age Limit:- 17 1/2 to 21 Years.

Physical standards ;;

Minimum Height :- 160 cms to 170 cms from different regions of the country

Minimum Chest:- 77cms

Minimum Weight:-48 kg to 50 from different regions of the country

The Bonus marks will be awarded on qualifying in the written examination for various categories such as Sportsmen(National/State level);

NCC "A" ,"B"& "C" certificates holders or candidates having O+ level computer certificate issued by the DOEACC Society.

You may apply through Army Recruiting Office which covers your residential Area.

Irrespective of your percentage of marks in 10th standard, you are not eligible to join Indian Army.

The reason being the minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to make entry into Indian Army is by completion of 12th class.

This is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in various defence services like
