Is admission in B.Tech through lateral entry, approved by AICTE?


l am raju kumar ,i had complited diploma in electrical and electronics engg.i want to take addm.in b. Tech later intery.but i want know.is it AICTE approved or not.plz reply soon.

Yes, Lateral entry scheme related to B.Tech course is approved by AICTE. The lateral entry exam is conducted by the Directorate of Technical education in India. You can apply for the lateral entry scheme in colleges which are approved by AICTE. You should attend the entrance examinations as part of this scheme. This will help you to directly enter in to the second year of engineering course.

i am doing bsc computer sc in distance education,can i take admission in fulltime b tech after my bsc,is it possible to take lateral entry in b tech after my bsc in distance education?
