Admission in NIT for a candidate with 29000 AIR & 6927 OBC rank in JEE Main?


Hi Sir, I have scored 29000 All India Rank in JEE Main. I belongs to an OBC category and my OBC rank in 6927. I am willing to secure admission in NIT college. So, with these ranks, I will secure admission in NIT or not? Please tell me immediately.

It will be difficult to get admission at NIT if you have got a 29000 rank on JEE Main. Even with an OBC category rank it will be difficult to secure a seat with your choice of stream at NIT.

In case there are seats vacant for streams that are not popular among students, you may have a chance of getting admission at NIT based on your OBC rank.
