Re: After graduation can I take admission in CA(Inter)?
The Intermediate Stage of the Chartered Accountancy course is now known as Integrated Professional Competence Course. So, if you are willing to take admission directly into the Integrated Professional Competence Course (Intermediate Course), it is not possible as per the present regulation of the council. Graduates from any stream has to qualify Common Proficiency Test in order to be considered eligible for the Chartered Accountancy course. However, there has been a proposal approved by the central council but is still waiting for the approval of the union government. If the proposal is passed than a commerce graduate with a minimum of 55% marks and non-commerce graduates with a minimum of 60% marks will be eligible to directly enroll for the Integrated Professional Competence Course. But since the Union government has not approved it yet, the eligibility criteria remains the same and as a result Common Proficiency Test remains as the compulsory test which every individual willing to pursue the course has to go through.

Re: After graduation can I take admission in CA(Inter)?
You did not wrote about your Graduation subjects whether you are Commerce Graduate or Non Commerce Graduate.
Graduation in Commerce with 55% marks will make you eligible for CA IPCC directly. Or If you have done Graduation in Non Commerce subjects with 60% marks then also you can apply for CA IPCC directly. It doesn't matter whether you have completed Graduation is one or two attempts. If you have the required percentage of marks then surely you will be eligible for CA IPCC. Just get registered for the course if you have above percentage of marks. If you haven't got the marks then you have to appear for CA CPT. So apply according to your situation. CA IPCC Subjects: Group I -Accounting (100 marks) -Business Laws, Ethics and Communication (100 marks) -Cost Accounting and Financial Management (100 marks) -Taxation (100 marks) Group II -Advanced Accounting (100 marks) -Auditing and Assurance (100 marks) -Information Technology and Strategic Management (100 marks) |
