I have given 10th std SSC board exams and result have not be came yet, i havent ever went below 85%, i wil get % nearly about 90, so am i eligible to choose IIT Field.

it does not depend whether you got 90%in your 10 standard.but it onlu xepend that you have got above 60%in+2

can class x marks is apply for iit and anyotherthings

No, After completing 10Th Examination You are not eligible to apply for IIT JEE examination, Because to apply for IIT JEE Examination you need to complete your 12Th examination From a recognized University.

Final Year 12Th appearing Candidates are also eligible to apply for IIT JEE examination. So please firstly complete your 12Th examination First, Only then you are eligible to apply for IIT JEE Examination.

Eligible candidates can apply for IIT JEE examination only two Times in consecutive years. And to appear in this examination You have to scored Minimum 60% Marks in your qualifying examination.

THE SSC EXAM is not taken as a criteria for the IIT JEE exam.... u wil hav to pass the 12th exam with an aggregate of 55% or more to appear for the IIT JEE..


The IIT JEE exams are taken up by most students of india who aspire an engg dream for asmission into the IITs and IIST in INDIA>

you are still in class 10th and to appear for IIT 10+2 is the minimum qualification.

10th class percentage will not decide IIT entrance exam,
for that first you need to finish your 10+2 with at least 60% .
then you will be eligible for the entrance test ..
mean will you can start preparing for the entrance exam ..

Information Regarding IIT JEE Examination.

If you have 10th class pass then you are not eligible for IIT JEE. IIT JEE is the most famous entrance exam among the engineering student. Every year a large number of candidates appear in the IIT JEE entrance exam to test their fate. The seat is limited in IIT JEE but number of aspirant is very large so competition becomes very hard.

To appear in the IIT JEE you need the following eligibility criteria :

->pass the 12th examination at least 60% marks with physics, chemistry
and mathematics as the main subject.

->A candidate can appear in IIT JEE only two times once in the
appearing of 12th examination and other in the just next year.

So, first you do 12th class with PCM stream then you can apply for the
IIT JEE entrance examination.

ya definitely you can eligible to iit.rest of all up to now is ignored.just should be completed12th.who completed 12th will be definitely eligible for iit. but hard work necessary to qualify in iit.if you had choosen iit it will be some what difficult means pattern will be fully changed in eamcet,aieee.if you had not qualified means not for discouragement just i am telling for future purpose you can't be able to set path correctly... if you had full confidence on you you can join but the basics up to 10th class is necessary.if you had full grip on basics no doubt you can join and you can score higher marks ....

no clas 10 marks is nly applicable 4 gov jobs n nt in iit . . . all entrance depends upon +2 result.

You are not eligible for IIT JEE to scored 85% in 10th because compulsory to complete your 12th then after you will be give IIT JEE.

IIT JEE is the entrance exam to get admission in B.Tech IIT colleges after completed your 12th. And in this exam question related to 12th main subject.

yes you can choose iit field but to crack iit you should have concept basis knowledge which may be different from high percentage.

Friend you are not eligible for iit after 10th.
You are eligible for iit if you got 60% aggregate and more in 12th.
So concentrate on 12th and get good marks then you get admission in iit after clearing entrance exam of iit-jee.

YES,YOU CAN PREPARE FOR IIT..AS 10th PERCENTAGE DOES NOT MATTER IN IIT.THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO SECURE ATLEAST 60%IN CLASS 12.

10th and 12th .... so you should go on to study science and

PCM combination. and score above 60%.

Additionally you should take help of professional coachings

After completing 10th Exam,You are not Eligible for IIT JEE Exam.

So I hope you would have secured good marks.
For admission purpose best of 5 subjects scheme will be considered(I am talking about 11th std).

Now talking about IIT-JEE entrance exam.
First of all you need to have cleared 10+2 exam with 60% in order to be eligible.
Also you can appear for IIT-JEE exam only twice & that too in consecutive year.

As you have just appeared for 10th exam.So you need to first complete your 10+2 exam in order to appear for IIT-JEE exam.

Candidates studying in 10+2 can also apply for IIT-JEE exam.
I will suggest you to prepare well for the IIT exam by solving previous year & Sample question papers.
Also refer standard Books for IIT-JEE preparation.

your class 10th percentage is very gud bt to appear for iit-jee u hav to first clear 12th standard !!!

the minimum percentage requirement is 60% in 12 xaminations wid science stream !!

then u hav to giv entrance xams to get into iit !!!!!

In reply to your question it is intimated that marks of 10th class does not make any difference for IIT exam.

On completion of your 12th exam you can apply for IIT exam and its depends upon your hard work and preparation to get success in the exam.

basically you have to know few things


1.you are not elegible for iit field now
2. you can apply it after you complete your inter first year and second year

now there are few conditions when you complete your inter

1.if you are in general category then you must score 60 % in physics,maths and chemistry otherwise 55%

so all the best and start taking coaching now onwards as this is national level exam and it is bit difficult so lot of work hard is required

Minimum qualification to appear for IIT/JEE exam is plus 2 with 60% marks.
In case of SC/ST candidate it is 55%.

Please do best in your forthcoming exam and select your field. This is one of the best option to proceed further.

Although there is no connection in IIT and xth marks but as you told your expectations are good so this is excellent and yes of course you can go for IIT prepare it with full heart and crack the IIT JEE.

Indian Institute of Technology is the most sought after technological institute in India. Through IIT jee one can get admission into various undergraduate and dual degree programmes in IITs. Eligibility criteria of IIT jee is as follows :-

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCM as main subjects securing at least 60% marks.
• Marks secured only in the first attempt of qualifying exam is considered.
• A candidate can attempt IIT jee only twice.

If you have got 85% in Xth board exam, it won't give you any additional benefit. You must satisfy the above mentioned eligibility criteria in order to write IIT jee. Then it is only performance of IIT jee which counts. Competition for securing a seat in IIT is fierce, but with a lot of commitment and perspiration, you can definately fulfill your dream of IIT. Remember there is huge difference of standard of Xth board and that of IIT jee. Even after scoring 95% in Xth board exam, many students fail to get luck to get into IIT. So, my only suggestion is forget about what you have done in Xth board. Concentrate on your study and work hard keeping your eyes on IIT jee-2013. You may opt for coaching classes for the preparation.

As you have asked whether you are eligible for the IIT-JEE exam,i have mentioned the details below for your reference.

Eligibility:

• The education qualification needed is a pass in +2 with 60% aggregate.For SC/ST it is 55%.
• The candidates must have done their higher in science stream with PCM
• The candidates must have born on or after October 01, 1980 are eligible for the exam.
• For SC/ST and PD candidates the upper age limit for them is 5 years from the prescribes limits.
• The candidates must submit their physical fitness certificate.

As far regarding the eligibility criteria you are not eligible for the IIT JEE exam,as regarding the criteria you must have finished your +2 from PCM stream.So continue your studies and apply for the exam after +2.

Sorry but you are not eligible for JEE IIT.
Only students with 10+2 (PCM) are eligible for JEE exam with minimum 60%.

You must complete your 12th in science & then go for JEE main.

After 10th you have another option that you will get admission in diploma engineering in any course.

To appear in JEE MAINS you need to atleast appear in 12th board exams . You cannot appear in JEE MAINS just after 10th . 10 th class marks usually dont matter while taking up JEE MAINS or admission in most of the colleges . The score which matters is the 12th standard score and the entrance exam score . Thus work hard in your board exams to be able to get into IIT .
