Am I eligible for CA after scoring 50% in PG(MCA)?

Hi,

I wanted to do CA after graduation but didn't know that eligibility requires 50% in Graduation. Neither can i appear for CAT exam for MBA.

So i did MCA from IGNOU and now i have more than 50% in post graduation. Now i want to know whether i am eligible for CA(36 months) or CAT ?

Please help.

Eligibility for CA Exam:-
1)The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board.
2)Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply.
3)The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply.

You ahve a MCA degree so you are not eligible for CA.

all the best

Dear Friend,

Sorry to say but you are not eligible for CA . This is because you have completed your MCA and MCA/BCA Students are not eligible for CA .

The Eligibility Criteria For CA Exam/Course are :

* You must have completed your 12th from any recognized board.

* You should have passed either B.Com/MBA/M.Com/LLB .

* Final Year Students Can Also Apply.

* There is no any percentage bar in this exam.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.
