Yes you can do MBA after completing B.Com from IGNOU. Even you can join CA intermediate course.
For doing CA intermediate course : 1. All the B.Com candidates must complete their studies with minimum 50% marks to take admission in direct intermediate course. 2. There is no upper age limit for doing CA course. 3. You can pass the CA course. For doing MBA course : 1. You must complete degree in any stream from a recognised university. 2. There is no upper age limit to do MBA. 3. You must pass the entrance exam for getting admission in MBA like CAT, MAT, XAT etc 4. You must get at least 50% marks in degree. As you are from B.Com stream CA, MBA finance will suit the best and there is a lot of scope in the future |

Re: Am I eligible to do MBA after completion of B.Com from IGNOU?
First thing I would like to let you know that for pursuing MBA ( Master of Business Administration ) degree course from any IIM you need to qualify CAT ( Common Admission Test ).
Further for appearing in CAT, the minimum qualification required is a graduation in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university. Marks relaxation of 5% is allowed for reserved category candidates. Now as far as you are concerned about your admission in IIMs for pursuing MBA degree having completed your B.Com degree from IGNOU ( Indira Gandhi National Open University ) then you must not worry regarding the same if you have cleared your degree with required percentage of marks as the degree by IGNOU is valid for any examination or for pursuing higher studies as IGNOU is approved by UGC and is one of the Central University too. |

Re: Am I eligible to do MBA after completion of B.Com from IGNOU?
MBA stands for Master of Business Administration and same is a Master degree course with a very good career scope.
As you have mentioned that you are interested in pursuing MBA degree from IIMs ( Indian Institute of Management ) then I would like to let you know that for admission in IIMs you need to qualify CAT ( Common Admission Test ) and for appearing in CAT you need to have completed your bachelor degree course in any discipline with 50% marks from a recognized university. Now as far as you are concerned about the recognisation of your bachelor degree which you have done from IGNOU ( Indira Gandhi National Open University ) then I would like to let you know that you just not have to worry about that IGNOU being a national university is also approved by UGC and hence degrees by same university is accepted everywhere. |
