Am I eligible for IAS exam after scoring 47.6% in B.A under SC categor
My marks in B.A. is 47.6 percent.May I applicable for IAS.I am in sc category.please answer my question.

hello friend,
yes, IAS exam is conducted by UPSC every year, the eligibility criteria for that is; a candidate should have Bachelor degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification...... |

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam. INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE For become a IAS officer, you must have to clear the civil service examination, which is conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION[UPSC]..This civil service examination has three stages to be clear- 1. CSAT[CIVIL SERVICE APTITUDE TEST] 2.MAINS 3.INTERVIEW[PERSONALITY TEST] For appear in this examination, you must have at least graduation degree from a recognized college, in any stream. The age limit for this examination is 21-30 years,. there are 5 & 3 years of the age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC candidates respectively. No,. of attempts- four for the GENERAL candidates, seven for the OBC candidates, & no such restriction for the SC\ST candidates. One more thing, I would like to tell you , there is not any kind of ,minimum marks required for apply in this examination. So, you are eligible for this examination. thank you!! ~gamble~ |
