hello sir, i am rahul BE passout. sir i got one year gap in my graduation. i got 56% aggregate in my degree. sir i want to take IAS and KAS exams, sir m i eligible to take those exams...? please help me sir... i will be waiting for ur reply....

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR IAS EXAM

This exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for IAS exam.There are no percentage criteria.

But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

Optional subjects for IAS main exam:

Economics , Electrical Engineering,Geography, Geology ,History, Law,Management,Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology,Statistics, Zoology, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Anthropology,Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Commerce and Accountancy.

You can choose the subject in sense of your strength .

The IAS selection process is consist in three way

1)Preliminary exam
2)Main exam
3)Inter View.

Last Date for Receipt of Applications: 05-03-2012

Date of Exam: 20-05-2012

Civil Services Main Exam, 2012

Date of Commencement of Exam: 05-10-2012

Hello I am BBM Graduate, i am eligible to Write KAS entrance Exam. what percentage need to attend the KAS Exam. Average percentage is not Eligible and In KAS exam what topic i need to select please inform.

hellow good afternoon, Iam a MA gradute in sociology and I am willing to appear KAS examination kindly send eligibility and conditions and I belongs to schedule caste category.

Sir i'm 26 n in B A final yr with ignou and will complete it in june. Im x soldier n have given my 7 yrs n 250 days to indian army n I belongs from backward ward. Can I apply for ias/kas, which will b the subjects I have to study about. Plz gave a guied line.

sir after completing diploma 3 years course, then I can sit for KAS or IAS exam

Plz tel me what should be the % of 10th as wel as puc is requred for attain the kas exam

To appear in the IAS exams you have to apply for the UPSC civil services exams.
This exams is conducted for selection of posts like IAS, IPS, IFS etc

This exam is conducted in three stages:
Prelims
Mains
Interviews


Educational Qualifications to appear in this exams:Graduation pass in any stream from an recognised University

Age Limit:Minimum 21 years for all candidates
Maximum age is 32 years for General category candidates
3 years age relation for OBC candidates
5 years for SC/ST candidates

Number of attempts:
6 attempts for general candidates
9 attempts for OBC candidates
No restriction for SC/ST candidates
