Yes, of course you are eligible for the Income Tax Officer exam. But, you need to complete a B.A without any pending backlogs. To become an Income Tax Officer you must appear in Combined Graduate Level Exams which is conducted by Staff Selection Commission every year.

Educational Qualification:
The applicant must have passed a Bachelor's degree of any stream from a well recognized university and must obtained 55% marks at graduation.

Age limit :
Applicant’s Age should be 18 to 27 years and Upper age relaxation is provided 3 years for OBC, 5 years for Sc/St.

Physical Standards:

Height :157.5cm
Chest :81cm ,fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm
Physical Test:
Walking:1600 meters in 15 minutes
Cycling:8 Km in 30 minutes

The Selection Process is based on performance of, Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Personal Interview

If I am selected with Bsc final year for Income tax officer then could I do that job or it is after graduation?
