yes you are eligible for all merchant navy exams,just keep referring to enterence exam magazines and rozgar samachar for advertisements regarding application forms,exam dates and all.
procedure is that you will have to give written exam followed by an interview.and then you have to undergo a training. |

The minimum eligibility for courses in Nautical science and Marine engineering is 10+2 or
an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry and mathematics. You have'nt mentioned your stream in 12,so that we can help you in a required manner.
However, you are eligible to join the merchant navy. For joining it as an engineer in there engineering branch,you have to persue b.tech in marine engineering,by cracking IIT-JEE,AIEEE,WBJEE and any entrance conducted by any maritime institute. For joining as an cadet,in there officer branches,you can join it after persue B.sc.(nautical science) as an officer which will leads you upto the captain. However,you can also join it after a 12 month pre-sea training,which is offered by various instiute and port trusts across the India.The minimum eligibility criteria for it is you must be have passed 12 with atleast 60% aggregate or candidates who are appearing are also provided provissional admission |

after 10+2 u have to contact any merchant navy office which provides training
then u have to pass a written exam after which u will be interviewed.....then there will a medical checkup.... then there will be a course for 6 months off- board training and then a 6 months on- board training....... list of best institutes are......... tolani,torm,mearsk,anglo eastern,babar......these are situated in mumbai...namac is a govt. running institute for merchant navy.... and if you become a sponsored candidate then after completing a course you dont have to apply any where for a ship recruitment ,the company that has sponsored you will place you in his ships directly. best of luck |

yes you are eligible for it for that you have to apear for different enterance exam conduced by the different companies in the month of april and may.you can appear for that and after passing the exam you can get into merchant navy.

yes you are absolutely eligible to appear for the merchant navy exams and you can get it forms from the head postoffices near by or from the syndicatebank outlets the forms which you reqire are of T.S.Chanakya & MERI instutes which are good as well have great career opportunities . all the best

you just appear form the exams conducted by the different companies and if you passed the exam then you can go to those company in which you want to go. but make it sure that you shuld have score minimum 60% in your board exam. |

Hi. .dear .i want to tell you that you are eligible to join merchant navy.,but it will be much better if you apply for it after graduation or degree. You must go for engineering.a lot of entrace exams are there for making a carrier in navy airforce or army..so please choose wisely what to do...all the best.

i have secured marks as follows from H.P. board:- English 79 Mathematics 42 Physics 58 Chemistry 56 Information Practices(Computer/IP) 72 Total 307/500 Percentage for PCM:- 52% Overall % - 62% am I eligible for the Deck Cadet Course or marine engineering ?? if yes then what is the total fees of course? and What about the placement after the course?? and what is last date for joining?? hi friend...
u should specify which stream ur taking.. if ur taking commerce then u cant apply for it.. but if u have taken science then u can apply for it .. for that u just have to write NDA exam..for that the minimum requirements are 60% result in class 12 ... --the age limit is 16 to 19of years.. --you should be physically fit.. and for ur information it is conducted twice a year.. hope these information helps.. all the best thank you |

You have to apply for JEE(Joint Entrance Exam) the exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission). * Candidates should complete 12th standard from a recognized institute * Candidates should study physics,maths and chemistry at 12th * Candidates should get 60% at 12th. * Candidates should have the age limit within 19 to 23 years of age. * Unmarried male candidates only can appear for this exam. * You should be physically fit.
