Am I eligible for NEET 2018 having passed my Higher Secondary in the year 2012?


I completed my Higher Secondary i.e. my 12th board exam in the year 2012. Can I apply for NEET - 2018 exam? Am I eligible for it or not please clarify.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for NEET 2018 examination after completion of your Higher Secondary course in the year 2012. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects with minimum aggregate of 50% marks and English as a subject in the qualifying examination from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for NEET examination. The age limit required to apply for NEET examination is 18 to 25 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules. So, if you can satisfy the age criteria, you are eligible to apply for NEET 2018 examination.

The full form of NEET is National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

Eligibility criteria for NEET exam:

The age limit is 17-25 years for general category candidates. If you are from OBC and SC/ST candidates, then you will get three years upper age relaxation and for SC/ST candidates, it is five years.

If you are within age limit then you can apply for NEET exam. You should have studied PCB subjects and scored minimum of 50% marks in it.

The age limit for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is;

*General candidate: 17-25 years.

*OBC candidate: 17-28 years.

*SC/ST candidate: 17-30 years.

If according to your category and age, you are in the age bracket then you can apply for NEET exam. But the last date to apply for NEET exam is already over.

NEET is National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. The examination is conducted by CBSE for admission in medical course.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as main paper.

There is no maximum number of attempts but the age limit is between 17-25 years with relaxation in upper limit for reserved category.

The last date of filling the online application was closed.

Yes, you are eligible but you must meet age limit. The age limit for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is 17-25 years for general category candidates. It is relaxed by three years for OBC candidates and five years for SC/ST candidates.

Apart from age criteria, you should have at least 50% marks in board exam of 12th with PCB subjects.

NEET stands for National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. This is common entrance test for admission in MBBS and BDS courses throughout India.

The eligibility criteria for this exam is that candidate must scored at least 50% marks in board exam of 10+2 and have studied subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Age limit for this exam is 17-25 years.

Yes, you are eligible for this exam. But in this year you not submit the form because date of submit the form is out.

NEET is conducted by CBSE every year for admission in medical courses in the government or private colleges.

The eligibility to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper. Candidate must have scored minimum 50% in board examination.

There is relaxation for reserved category. There is no limitation on number of attempts to appear for examination.

The minimum age limit is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years. Sorry, the last date of filling the application form for 2018 examination is over.

So, you are not eligible to appear for 2018 examination now. For detail information about NEET visit at www.cbseneet.nic.in.

--> NEET refers to National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and the basic qualifications required for appearing in the same examination are as here under:-

* You must have the citizenship of India.

* Your age must lie within 17 years to 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates as per the government norms.

* You must have completed your Class 12th with PCB group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Students appearing in their board examination are also eligible.

So, having completed your Class 12th in 2012 you are eligible for appearing in NEET 2018 if you have secured minimum marks required in Class 12th as per your category and also satisfy the age criteria for appearing in the same examination.

CBSE conducts NEET examination every year for admission in MBBS, BDS etc. The eligibility to appear for the examination is that candidate must have passed or appearing for 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as main paper.

The age limit is :

Minimum - 17 years.

Maximum - 25 years.

There is no limitation on number of attempts to appear for examination. So, if you satisfy the eligibility criteria then you are eligible to appear for examination.

The application form for 2018 examination is not available now ( is closed ).

The acronym NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test.

Eligibility criteria for NEET exam:

Academic qualification: 12th passed with PCB subjects.

Minimum of 50% marks in board exam is required.

Age criteria is 17-25 years. OBC and SC/ST candidates get three years and five years upper age relaxation.

If you are within age limit, you can surely apply for NEET exam.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is an all India level entrance examination for admission in MBBS and BDS courses.

Eligibility criteria for NEET exam:

Student should be 12th passed with biology as compulsory subject. Your percentage of marks should be not less than 50%.

Since you have passed 12th in 2012, if you are below 25 years then you can apply. The upper age limit for OBC is 28 years and SC/ST is 30 years.

NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test and the minimum eligibility criteria required for appearing in NEET 2018 are as below:-

i) You must be an Indian citizen.

ii) Your age must not be under 17 years by the 31st December 2018 and must not exceed 25 years by the 6th May 2018. Age relaxation of 5 years is allowed for reserved category candidates.

iii) You must have completed your Class 12th with PCB group with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. Marks relaxation of 10% is allowed for candidates belonging to reserved category.

So, having passed your Class 12th in 2012 you can appear in NEET 2018 if you satisfy the age criteria and the minimum requirement of marks in Class 12th for appearing in the same examination.

NEET is conducted every year for admission in private and government medical colleges.

The eligibility to appear for examination is :

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Biotechnology as main paper.

Candidate must have scored minimum 50%.

The age limit is :

Minimum - 17 years.

Maximum - 25 years.

Attempts - No limit.

So, candidates with above qualification are eligible to appear for examination.
