CA Course eligibility with arts in 10+2 but commerce in graduation
Hello everyone my name is Sumit.I am doing B.COM-3 .I want to do C.A.i would like to tell that i have done my 10+2 in arts stream.so please suggest am i going right with my decision.I have choosen commerce stream after 10+2.so am i not late for doing this course.

For your kind information you were eligible for taking CA exam just after your 10th class . It doesnt matter that you changed your line but it is equally important that you have particular interest in that. So keep this interest in. Forget about the pre-mistakes of your life and give attention in studies. |

You can do CA after your graduation and you should score at least 50% marks. The candidates have to appear for Professional Competency Course (PCC). Those who have passed ICWAI can register to can register for Professional Competency Course without entrance exam. On passing this course you can register as Articled clerks for practical training and for admission to the final course of the Accountant. You should have good knowledge of computer for this course.

To pursue CA course, you must have passed the +2 level of examination in any stream conducted by a recognised institute. Since you have completed your +2, you are eligible to write CPT(Competency Professional Test) conducted by ICAI. If you hold a bachelor degree or any professional degree, you will be eligible for exemption from CPT, provided you are a Commerce graduates with 50% marks Non-commerce graduates with 55% marks (without maths) Non-commerce graduates with Maths with 60%. For your kind information you were eligible for taking CA exam just after your 10th class.You should have good knowledge of computer for this course. no you are not late you have to clear the written exam of CA .i think it should better if you complete your graduation & also done with commerce. have a good day |

Any person who has done 10+2 in any stream is eligible to write CPT(CA course starts with clearing that exam).
Many do CA along with graduation.It doesn't matter. |

once i hd also d same question,,,,,,and i found in intrnt(www.CAclubindia.com) dat graduation is nt mandatoory for completing ca final exam nd gettin membrshp of icai....min requirement is HS.Dat set.

Hi,
Yes u r eligible for CA examination. For that u have to appear in CPT examination and after clearing CPT u have to clear PCC simultaneously. Thank you |

the CA course which is recognised to be one of the toughest courses in india, is best passed with guidance and effort. The best option is to join the INSTITUTE OF CHARTED ACCOUNTANTS OF INDIA as they hav the best faculty and the best record,. they charge minimum and offer best coaching too..... regards |

Yes CA course is a course in which you can learn about accountancy in details. Any one can learn this course. No matter what your stream is in 11th std. Even the science stream students can do CA course. So its not late for you and you can surely start it now.
