dear sir , i have scored 54.7% in M.COM. Am i eligible for UGC NET EXAM?

Those candidates who have even secured 54.99% marks or below (even 49.99% marks or below for SC/ST & PH/VH candidates) in Master's Degree or equivalent Examination are NOT eligible for this Test. THERE IS NO PROVISION OF ROUNDING OFF OF MARKS TO MAKE IT 55% (50% FOR SC/ST and PH/VH).

No, You are not eligible for UGC net exam as the eligibility for the same is as under-

1. Candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university.

2. For general and OBC candidate must be hold 55%above in masters degree. SC/ST candidate must be hold 50% above in masters degree.

3. For Junior research fellowship course your age must be in between 19 to 28 years.

4. For lectureship ,There is no upper age limit but the Minimum age is 19 years.

However you can reappear in one of your masters degree subject so that your percentage will reach upto 55% but your Post graduation must be pursued in the current year.

National Eligibility Test (N.E.T.)

N.E.T. 2012 Eligibility :-

A Candidate must passed 12th examination in any branch with minimum 50% for general category and for S.C. and S.T. student 45 per cent mark is required.For higher education you have to get at least 50% for general category and for S.C. and S.T. student 45 % marks is required.

So you are very much eligible.

NO,if you belong to General Category.

yes ,if you belong to SC/ST as they have 5% marks relaxation.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

UGC conduct the examination twice in a year.

This examination is conducted for the Junior Research Fellowship and Lecturer ship.

Minimum qualification for NET entrance exam

Masters in subject from recognized university with at least 55% marks.

Age limit

For Junior Research Fellowship - age of the candidate should not be more then 28 years.

For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship.

No dear, if you are from general category. But if you are from reserved category, the minimum score is 50%.

Hi You can check ugc website for this & as per my knowledge 55% in P.G is required for appering Net Exam

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for NET exam because the minimum Masters degree percentage is above 55%.

From this year NET exam pattern should be changed.There is no descriptive type Question paper here.

All Question are Short type .Each Question Carry 2 marks.

if you have scored 55% in COMPANY SECRETARY you would apply for NET examination.

if possible through reappears of last few papers of CS and you can improve your marks.

and then apply for NET examination.

As minimum 55% marks are necessary for appearing in NET examination.

or

Company Secretary is a nice course you can seek Employment in Companies.

No your not eligible for NET Examination , You have score below 55% percentage of marks , If your belong from sc/st candidates then your eligible to apply for the Examination .

This Examination is conducted by UGC . This Examination is conducted twice in a year during the month of June and December . If your aspiring to become and Lecturer then you should compulsory qualified in NET Examination .

To apply for NET Examination you should be complete bachelor degree in any discipline with 55% percentage of marks from recognized university . If your belong from sc/st candidate then relaxation is given for 50% percentage of marks .

For Junior Research fellowship your age should be below 28 years and relaxation is applicable for sc/st candidates . There is no relaxation for lectureship post .

The important Notification for NET Examination are published in employment news papers and other leading new papers .

Examination Fees :-

-For General Candidates :-Rs. 400
-For sc/st candidates :- Rs .200
-For obc candidates :- 100

So, If your belong from sc/st candidate then your eligible to give NET Examination .

As per your statement this is not possible if you belong to General category otherwise if you belong to other than General category then you are eligible for UGC NET.

Features & Eligibility of UGC NET(National Eligibility Test):-

NET is conducted by UGC twice in a year.

Only Post Graduate candidates can write this Net Entrance examination.
