No, Arts student are not eligible for SCRA exam because the minimum educational

No. An arts student can not apply for SCRA.
Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one ofthe subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one ofthe subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply |

Hello friend .....
SCRA full form is the Special Class Railway Apprentice .. The SCRA entrance exam is conducted for the admission in the mechanical branch of the railway engineering . After getting admitted here you are directly recruited to the railway department to work there as an engineer .. The SCRA exam is conducted by the UPSC you can apply for the SCRA both online and offline through the UPSC website .... As SCRA is the engineering course and so the Arts stream students are not eligible for the SCRA exam . Only those candidates who have passed their 12th board exam with science stream with maths , physics and chemistry as their compulsory subjects with the minimum of the 60% of the marks and from any of the recognized board are eligible . Hello,
For SCRA one needs to have mathematics and any of physics or chemistry as main subjects in 10+2 or in 1st year in bachelor's degree. So student of Arts can not opt for SCRA jobs. Best wishes..... |

No arts students are not eligible for SCRA exam.
Educational Qualification: 1.) To take admission in this examination, candidates must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination in first or in second division. 2.) University or board is of government approved. 3.) Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. 4.) Mathematics graduate or students with at least one of the subjects Physics or Chemistry as their degree level may apply also.. Age Criteria: Candidates must have attained lower age limit of 17 years of age |

the minimum qualification for the exam is as follows:- For admission to the examination a candidate- (a) Must have passed in the first or second division, the Intermediate or an equivalent Examination of a University or Board approved by the Government of India with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. Graduates with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects may also apply, or (b) must have passed in the first or second division, the Higher Secondary (12 years) Examination under 10 plus 2 pattern of School Education with Mathematics and at least one of the subjects Physics and Chemistry as subjects of the examination. so you are not eligible having ARTS stream |

Sorry friend arts students are not eligible for SCRA exams. Because education qualification require for that is: *Must have PCM in your 12th class. *Must have 60% in your 12th class in physics,chemistry and maths. |
