for those who are interested in doing management is it better to opt for bba n its masters or get a btech degreee n do 2yrs of mba

it should be better to do a bba as u can not apply ur btech degree during the cource of mba.

M.b.a. After b.b.a. Is better than m.b.a. After b.tech...............

look dear friend let's keep the things simple and not get confused about different streams . if you have a clear mind set of doing management then you can go for BBA as you will be doing good in MBA after that but if you want to be a technical graduate and a managment executive in technical field so go for Btech so make a decision what is your preference and what you are able to do.. so choose accordingly ..good luck bbye take care and if any kind of doubt still persists then do write to me again i will give a more descriptive information regarding the same and a better career option..bbye

i think if you are doing b.tech and then doing mba is very good for you. i think you should go for b.tech then mba.

It is more beneficial to do first B-Tech than BBA .,
because B-Tech have more opportunity than BBA .
If by any reason you are not able to continue studies,
that is MBA then B-Tech degree give you a good job than BBA .
if you complete the MBA after B-Tech then you have technological as
well as managerial knowledge,
but in case of BBA+MBA you have only managerial knowledge.

so for a company B-TECH +MBA students will get more preference...

if i prefare then i would prefare that doing M B A after b.tech is good option for career....

Dear Friend BBA is not half equivalent to B.Tech . Its not like you would like to pursue B.tech for that You have to go thru all the competative exams including the IIT's which is one of the most toughest exams in the world . People who dont do well in their +2 and fail to be fit for Engineering or Medical they go for these Degrees like the BBA/BSC/BCA etc and then do MCA to be equivalent with Engineers or MBA to be in Management line .. In india or any other nation like U.K only MSC(in computer science or general MSC),MCA ,AMIE,MA,MBBS,B.Arch are equivalent to B.Tech .. Mr who ever you may be people have to prepare for 2-3 years some times to get an Engineering seat in a good Engineering college and during that time they just roll their names in some course like BBA/BSC/BCA what ever ... And more over if you are talking of MBA after B.tech let me tell you one thing IN all the IITs 98% of the seats are filled up by Engineers and and rest by some others at the end of the day it is Engineers who are responsible for making companies .. The top students from ny class in school or college always go for Engineering or medical and the rest well u know the best ..

it is totally depend on your interest..
i suggest you do B tech ,,,
because this degree have independent value..'let us suppose
you do not get master degree,,,
then if you are b tech then you surely get job but in bba case it is not possible easily...

if you are interest in management the i will suggest you to go for bba rather than btech course,so that you can focus on the management paper rather than the technical paper ............
so it is better for you to join for the bba course......

if your economical situation is very good then you can go 1st b.tech and then MBA,
other wise you opt for the BBA and then MBA.

Mr. Whoever u are...........kindly note that students who don't get into engineering or medicine are not dum and have failed in 10+2 or are not fit for those courses. ....There can be varied reasons why they don't get into those courses........students with 50-60% go for engineering.......or even more no doubt....but not all have the right aptitude...tat's y so many fail in their 1st sem itself.....n so many backlogs.

Im a BBA student.....n mind u, m not dum....secured a distinction in Xii sci, n due to family probs did not make it to Pharmacy..............it depends on every individuals taste. So DONT MAKE GENERALIZED STATEMENTS..get that!!

I thnk doing MBA after B.Tech is more valued than doing MBA after BBA & most of the companies Prefer thes students only. but on the whole its completely on the persons interest which feild he wants to persue in his life. No feild is good or bad,it depends upon the students attiude towards hiscarrer option.A person canperfprm well in the feild in which he is really interested and critisizing any of the feild is stupidness because it just shows one's over confidence towards the line which he has opted. in last do MBA after B.Tech.

it will be always better if you go for masters in your core field .......like if you want to go for bba then go for mba......

Its prefectly your choice but its always recommended to do BBA and then MBA but nowadays new trend is that after doing engineering students do MBA because its the best package a student can have of technical and managerial skills.

Dear if your untimate goal is to persue MBA, then why to go for B.Tech.

BBA will be much better for you, after studing BBA MBA will be like a piece of cake for you.

However,it also depends upon which branch do you want to persue MBA.Some core branches like- MBA (Production/system/construction management etc.) are suitable for candidates from Engineering background.

Dont worry just go for it.And at present MBA (Marketing/Finance/Sales/IT/Hospitality) are in much demand, better to switch anyone of them.

if you want to do MBA then you should go for the BBA course as you will be studying the same syllabus which you have studied in BBA course but in some more detail..............

whereas if you go for the b.tech and then for MBA then you will find some problem in it as you have studied complete different concepts which are related with science and in MBA you will be studying concepts relating to commerce stream........

still its your choice.........choose which you feel is good for you........

I will told you what will happen if you opt any of these:
1.B.tech+MBA
If you are from science background then you can do only B.tech. With this combination you can get technical & managerial knowledge . This is the latest trend, which people.
But I think it is not good to change your field.

2. MBA(5 year)
You get only managerial knowledge but you have interest so it is good for you.If you do it from a reputed college & if you have command on your english then you surely get a good job.

3. BBA+MBA
firstly do your bacholar then master .........through this you are eligible for many posts which want graduates.

because you are clearly showing your interest in management, means you are mentally prepared to do MBA. which only leads the way of bba+mba. But be careful in choosing institute. Choose an institute that provides 100% placement like IIM, IILM etc.

its not neccessary man, that b.tech+mba students would get preferences, for eg a finance company etc would have no interest in taking a b.tech+ mba student, because there is no use of engg resources in the finance sector. further a student with a b.tech+mba would have managerial knowledge only of 2 years because b.tech is tottaly different from mba, in that case a management company would go for bba+mba student who have 5 years of managerial knowledge. further a student if after studying b.tech goes for nba than its nothing but a loss to the engg sector of our country. In my opinion b.tech student should go for m.tech.

To do mba , you only need a graduate degree , that is , only BBA so no need to study science also Btech takes 4 yrs while BBA is of 3 years.

Hey friend, instead of thinking which degree is better, consider your interest first. If you are more inclined towards management, then go for BBA. But if engineering interests you, then definitely B.tech is a better option for u. As far as MBA is concerned, you can pursue it after both the degrees. Well, I am confused because what if I do bba and doesnt get a seat IIM and I dont get well with b tech. What should I do...?

If anyone gets 53 percentage in 12th class, then he should go for b.tech of not?
