Hello sir, I have completed 12th with 34% marks and want to become a Train Driver. Am I eligible for it? Will I have to do any course for it?

To become Loco Pilot in Indian Railway the candidates have to appear and qualify in entrance examination conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

The eligibility to appear for entrance examination is :-

Candidate must have passed ITI/Polytechnic/ Diploma degree from a recognised institution or 12th with Course Completed Act Apprentice.

Candidate's age must be between 18-30 years with relaxation in age for reserved category.

So, you have to pursue course completed act apprentice for appearing in examination and after qualifying in it eligible for recruitment. For more information about examination visit at www.rrb.gov.in.

No, only 12th qualification is not sufficient to appear for entrance examination for recruitment in Indian Railway.

The candidates along with 12th qualification need to have Complete Act Apprentice course.
