Information Regarding CAT Examination.

No, Friend according to eligibility criteria of CAT examination the pre-final year candidates are not eligible to apply for the CAT examination. Only final year and pass out candidates are eligible to apply for the CAT examination. CAT examination is conducted by the management of IIM for the admission in the MBA course at the IIM college.

The eligibility for the CAT exam is as under-

1. The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent & 45% for the sc/st & DA candidates.

So it is advisable to you to either apply next year or after completed your Engineering Degree but you can start your preparation for that now so that you can be well prepared & get pass in 1st attempt.

sorry to say , but you are not eligible yet. for appearing inj this exam you must have to complete your graduation.Only final year and pass out candidates are eligible to apply for the CAT examination. Yes, 3rd year student are eligible for CAT exam.

Those candidate have completed graduation with 50% marks are eligible for CAT exam.

For sc/st candidate score just above 45% in graduation.

There are no age criteria so you can apply here maximum time.

Final year student are also eligible for CAT exam.
