Re: Can I apply for CTET if waiting for BEd 4th semester result?
Yes, you are eligible to appear for CTET. CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test and the entrance examination conducted by CBSE twice ever year.
As B.Ed is of two year course, so you can appear for examination. To appear for examination it is necessary that candidate must have passed Bachelor degree in any discipline and also have passed B.Ed or waiting for final year result. To get eligibility criteria for examination or syllabus for examination visit at www.ctet.nic.in. |

Re: Can I apply for CTET if waiting for BEd 4th semester result?
CTET refers to Central Teacher Eligibility Test and same examinations is held by CBSE for recruitment of teachers in government-funded schools such as KV, JNV, etc. and other private schools affiliated to CBSE.
As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for CTET being a final year of B.Ed then I would like to let you know that you are certainly eligible as final year candidates are eligible for CTET but your candidature will be valid for your recruitment as teacher only if you are able to submit your final mark sheet of B.Ed degree by the deadline date mentioned in CTET notification. For more details regarding CTET eligibility and FAQs related to it, you can refer to the link www.ctet.nic.in. |
