IBPS conducts exam every year for recruitment to 19 public sector banks for various posts in various fields since 2011.
since an exam is held there is no bar regarding career or marks secured at various stages of education, but yes age factor is surely a doubt.
as per my knowledge of the exam the age limit for bank PO is upto 30 years for general with relaxation for sc/st upto 5 years.
but for various other posts the age limit is also different like for it/ statistics officer its 35 years, for agriculture officer also its 35 years.
also the exam differs for different posts. it conducts different exams for different posts.
it is better you through the official website once.

You will be having the Job opportunity to work as Probationary Officer in 2 categories of banks

Public Sector Banks
Private Sector Banks.

In private sector, each and every bank will conduct its own written exam and its own selection procedure for the recruitment of PO positions.

But when it comes to public sector, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is conducting common written Exam for the recruitment of PO positions for all the public sector banks.

SBI and SBI Associate Banks will be excluded from this list even though they are public sector banks.

For some private sector banks, the minimum eligibility to apply for PO exam is completion of Graduation with any of the stream. So, you can apply for that kind of recruitment from the banks.

With regard to IBPS Exam, till the last academic year, all the candidates who have completed Graduation are eligible to apply.

But from this academic year, a new rule is going to be announced which is the candidate should have completed Graduation with minimum 50% of marks in order to apply for PO Exam.

If this rule came into existence, you are no more eligible to apply for IBPS PO Exam.

But, you are eligible to apply for Clerical positions of any Bank.

As of now, I am not sure whether you can apply for IBPS Exam or not.

So, please visit the following official website of IBPS to have the updated information regarding IBPS PO Exam.

Here it is,

Till last year the IBPS PO eligibility was just Graduation in any discipline with no percentage criteria.

But now the IBPS Clerical eligibility is raised from 12th to Graduation means IBPS PO will also have percentage criteria which will be 60% marks in Graduation.

As you have got 41% marks so you might not be eligible for IBPS PO but you can wait till the notifications are announced.

SBI PO has no percentage criteria so you can apply for SBI PO with 41% marks.
.

Age Limit:

21 to 30 years is the required age for IBPS PO examination. Age relaxation is given for other categories.

SC/ST - 5 years relaxation

OBC - 3 years relaxation

PWD - 10 years relaxation

Selection Procedure:

-Objective type Test

-Interview and Group Discussion
