Yes, you are eligible to apply IPS exam after completed B.Sc. from a recognized University.

Because for apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service.

Eligibility criteria:-

Candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates.

Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years

And SC/ST category candidates 5 years.


Number of Attempts:-

General category candidates - 4 time

OBC category Candidates - 7 time

SC/ST category candidates - No limit.

Yes you are eligible for the I.P.S examination being a B.Sc candidates.I.P.S stands for Indian Police Service and the examination for it is conducted by the UPSC every year. But there is no special examination for it. UPSC conducts examination for IPS/IAS/IFS all as a single examination known as Civil services examination.

The eligibility for the examination is :-
Candidates who have completed there graduation in any discipline from a recognized university are eligible.
Candidates age must be between 21-30 years for general category,21-33 for OBC and 21-35 for SC/ST candidates.
There is no specific aggregate required in graduation or 10+2 for it.

The examination is conducted in three stages in which candidates have to qualify in all for the final selection. The stages are :-
*Preliminary.
*Mains.
*Interview.

After the final.selection merit list are prepared according to this candidates are offered there designation as IAS,IPS and IFS.

But the examination is among the toughest.So you have to work hard to achieve the goal.

IPS Examination is Organized by Union Public Service Commission for every Once in a year.

Bachelor degree from recognized university are applicable for IPS Exam. Final year student are applicable for IPS Exam.
