Can I apply for NDA after passing 12th with 72%?
sir i'am 19.6 years old. i passed 12th with 72%....could u please tell me

HI,
NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY or NDA exam,it is most sought exam after 12th standard where one can go into Indian Air force,Army or Navy. NDA provides many opportunities for every young men to explore their hidden talents with courage ,bravery and love for their country. Thet help them to mould their characters and express truly their potentials what they are capable of through a disciplined and rigorous training approach. ELIGIBLITY: For this exam,it is required that you have to pass 12th standard with 60% as maths and pyhsics as their main subject. AGE CRITERIA: 16.5 to 19 years So,you are not eligible for this exam,as you have crossed the upper limit for the age relaxation. You can also try for SSC men when you pass your Graduate. |

The needed education qualification for the NDA exam is that the candidate must ahev completed +2 from a recognzied school board with a fari percentage. yes ,you can as eligibility for NDA is
1 you must be unmarried and your nationality should be indian 2 you must be 12th pass from a recognised board 3 your age limit shall be between 16 and 1/2 years to 19 and 1/2 years |

Dear Friend
You are eligible for the National Defense academy examinations in terms of academic qualifications but as per rules and regulations of Union Public service commission,the age limit for this exam is 16.5 to 19 years. As your age is 19.6 years,sorry to say that you are not eligible to give this examination. If you are interested in joining the defense ,then at bachelor's degree level ,you can give the Combined defense services examinations. This examination is conducted twice every year by the UPSC. The criteria is that you should be minimum of 19 years and the upper age limit depends upon the academy which you ant to join: 1.Indian military academy:24 years. 2.Indian Naval academy:22 years 3.Officer's Training academy:25 years. You must be an Indian citizen.Both male and female candidates allowed to appear for the examinations. Friend,this examination is not so easy to crack ,you need to give your level best so as to clear this examinations. For better preparation ,you have enough time between 10+2 and bachelor's degree ,so I would like request you to join any good coaching institutes and try to solve the previous year question papers as much as possible. National Defence Academy(NDA) entrance exam is conducted two times every year by UPSC to join Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.
There is no percentage of marks criteria in 12th for application to NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian aMale having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the nage of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health. Yes, you can apply for NDA after 12th. and there is no percentage criteria in 12th for application to NDA.
NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA. The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Physique. ![]() Sorry to say that you cannot apply for NDA examination because of your age. But, you need not to worry. If, you are interested to join Defence, then first of all, you complete your graduation. After completion your graduation, you are eligible to apply for CDS(Combined Defence Services) examination, which is conducted by UPSC every year. The age limit for NDA examination is 16.5-19 yrs. But, the age limit for CDS examination is mentioned as below:- * Indian Naval Academy- 19-22 yrs. * Indian Air Force- 19-23 yrs. * Indian Military/Army Academy- 19-24 yrs. * Officer's Training Academy- 19-25 yrs. Pass in 12th is enough to qualify NDA. But your age is not up to the eligibility requirements. Upper age limit for NDA is 19 years. Anyway, don’t worry on this. You can join defense after completing graduation through the gateway of CDS. Choose the science stream if you want to join navy or airforce.

You cannot apply for the UPSC conducted NDA exams as you are more than 19 years old.
Age limit to aply for the NDA exams is: Minimum -16.5 years maximum -19 years Educational qualifications: 12th pass for the Army wing 12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing |

The selection procedure for defence services is like this...
1.NDA test 2.interview 3.medical tests..... 50% marks are the qualification.. age limit is up to 27 years |
