Definitely, If you are Interested to join Indian Army after Intermediate examination then you have to apply for the National Defence Academy examination. This examination is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year, NDA(I) and NDA(II).

NDA(I) examination notification will published in the month of December and NDA(II) Examination will published in the month of May every year.

This examination is conducted for the Recruitment of these 3 wings of NDA:

--->> Army wings
--->> Naval Wings
--->> Air force Wings

If you have completed your Intermediate examination in Arts then you can only eligible to apply for Army wings of NDA.

Only unmarried male candidates between the age of 16.5 to 19 years are eligible for this examination.

This year all examination was successfully completed. If you are interested in this examination then wait for next year NDA(I) Examination Notification.

You have to fill the application form online only. There is no offline application form facility will be there, so after publishing the notification you have to fill the online application form of NDA.

If your age is less than 19 years then you can apply for NDA Examination.

The selection is based on written test followed by SSB test and Medical test.

If you cracked all these stages then you are eligible for Training for certain period. The examination is very competitive and lots of candidates appeared for NDA every year, so you need lots of practice only then you will be able to cracked this examination.

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. The examination is conducted by UPSC twice in a year for the admission of candidates in 2 major branches:

NDA stands for National Defense Academy. NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. You can give this exam for two times a year.

This exam can be given to enter the following academies:

• Indian Military Academy
  
• Air Force Academy
  
• Naval Academy

Eligibility Criteria:

1. To give this exam you need to be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1962.

2. This exam can be given only by the unmarried male candidates of India. Therefore girls unfortunately cannot give this exam.

3. Those who wants to enter the military academy needs to pass the higher secondary examination or its equivalent of a recognized board.

4. For entering the naval academy or air force academy you need to be a 12th pass out and you should have mathematics and physics as one of your subjects at 10+2 level.

5. Your age should be between 16.5 and 19 years when applying for this exam. There is no age relaxation.

6. Selection Procedure basically includes:

A. Written Examination
B. Intelligence/Personality Test
C. Medical Examination

8. After getting selected you will get three years' training from the national defense academy and then you will be sent to the academy chosen by you. At the end of the third year you will also get a degree from the Jawaharlal Nehru University.

yes, definietly if you want to join indian army by officers rank . please fill nda form, requirements for nda-55% marks in top three csubjects. height-175cm and weight according to this. then having all this requirements you have tyo fill forms after few months you will get admitt cards for the enterance exam

physical fitness

race 400 m and 800 m race


long jump


high jump

and others after passing these test you have to go through interview which is the Jobs in Indian Army

Yes shore you are eligible for Indian army, any candidate after completing 12th standard can be eligible for Indian army through NDA(National Defence Academy) exam, NDA exam is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in every year. This year NDA-I and NDA-II exams are already over, so you can apply for the next year NDA-2013 exam.

Eligibility criteria:-

yes you give army officer test after passing 12th in arts.but your age should be 16and half to 19 year . your percentage of marks should be atleast 50% in 12th.The exam will counduet in 3 stages-:Written Exam,SSB Test and then Medical Test.

the question will be asked from math and general knowledge of 300 and 600 marks

Some of the exams conducted for recruitment in IMA are:-

NDA examination:-You cannot go through NDA examination conducted by the UPSC since your a candidate from Arts Stream and only candidates from M.P.C(Maths,Physics,Chemistry) can go through this exam.

CDS Examination:-For going through this exam you need to possess Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.


Short Service Commision Techical Men:-you need to complete Engineering Degree in notified discipline.Since your a Arts student it's not possibile to go through Engineering course.


NCC (SPL) Entry Men:-The qualification is Graduate with LLB / LLM with 50% Aggregate marks, 2 Yrs service in NCC Senior Div Army with minimum 'B' Grade in 'C' Certificate Exam.

but you should write NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice in a year...
and i suggest you to please first comlete your degree,if you complete

yess . . .ofcourse ,one can sit for NDA after his +2 from any of the streams , be it arts or science or commerce . NDA is the National Defence Academy that conducts its written exam twice a year and is only for boys ,girls are not allowed to sit in this exam. The age limit to sit in this examination is from sixteen and half years to nineteen years.
