You cannot apply for IPS, immediately after 12th. Graduation is the basic qualification required. UPSC conducts the selection process. There will be prelims and mains exam. Being a competitive exam you can start preparation for the exams immediately. Physical fitness test is also conducted so prepare accordingly.

Hi,Friend i am Sorry to say this that your not eligible to apply for civils exam as per the notification you must be a graduate form recognize university as your not Completed your Graduation

you can not become IPS officer after 12th standard.

you must be graduate at least.

IPS exam eligibility;-

1-you must be graduate from a recognized university

2-age limit is 21-30 years.

age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

3-you must be Indian citizen

4-you must be physically as well as mentally fit.

Immediately after class12 you cannot apply for ips because you must have a degree from any college or university of national importance in any branch and also you must have minimum age of 21 years to apply for upsc but you can prepare for it from now.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service , There are some eligibility criteria to appear this exam , As you have completed +2 you can not appear IPS exam.

Eligibility criteria:

Education Details- The candidates should be a graduate in any stream from a recognize university.

Age limit - The age limit is 21 - 30 yrs, There is a age relaxation for reserved candidates.

Attempts - General - 4, Obc- 7 , Sc/St - unlimited

Sorry to say but 12th class pass can't apply for IPS Officer examination or Civil Services Examination.

If you want to apply for Civil Services Examination then take admission and Graduation.

After completion of Graduation you will be eligible for Civil Services Examination.

The Graduation must be from a recognised University and your age should be according to the UPSC norms.

The age limit for Civil Services Examination is 21 to 30 years for General Category.

There is age relaxation for 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC Category.

As you are just 12th pass means you have lot of time for preparation. You must start your preparation from now because syllabus of Civil Services Examination is so vast that you have to study almost everything.

To become an IPS Officer you have to pass following stages:

-CSAT

-Mains

-Interview

For IPS Officer post there will be medical examination to check the fitness of the candidate for IPS Post.

You must have the required physical fitness if you want to become an IPS officer.

Sorry to say that after 12th standard you are not applicable for IPS exam.So first completed graduation degree then you can apply here.Because the minimum education qualification for IPS exam is Bachelor degree.

You have enough time to prepare your self like study and physical .But from my point of view you will focused on your physical fitness ate this time.
