How to become an IPS officer after completing 12th this year by NIOS?
Dear Sir/Madam
i completed 12th this year by nois. i want to know that which subject must in graduation if i want to become a IPS officer? my age is 25 year-old and my marks % is 48.2%.... plz guide me...... |

You can not become IPS officer after 12th, you have to complete your graduation degree from a recognized university. Exam Eligibility;- 1-You must be passed a graduate degree from a Indian recognized university 2-There is no percentage requirement 3-Appearing in final year candidates are also eligible. Age limits;- General age limits is 21-30 years. Age relaxation is given reserved category students. Civil services Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies having 400 marks. 2 hours are given to each General studies papers. Civil services Mains exam pattern changed from this year. 2 General Studies Papers and 4 optional subjects papers (2 each) These 6 papers constitute 1800 marks (300 by 6) There is an Essay Paper and Personal Interview as well of 200 and 300 marks each, which amounts to 2300 marks Comparison between Previous Year Mains exam pattern and 2013 Exam pattern;- Less subjects to choose from More papers to appear for under General Studies Constriction in language/ medium (to give the exam) English paper sub-divided into 2 sections (300 marks total) Reduction in total marks New paper on ethics, integrity and aptitude Physical Standard;- Height;- Male 165 cm Male & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest : Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight : 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. The correction is by lenses only. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic. All the best.................. |

IPS (Indian Police Service)
To appear in IPS exam you should be graduate. There are Civil Services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for IPS. Eligibility :- 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years Attempts:- Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. Physical Standard:- Height – Male 165 cm Pahari Male (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm Pahari Female (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest – Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Eye sight – 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. The correction is by lenses only. Exam Pattern :- There are two stages-- Preliminary Exam-- It is of objective type, which is a qualifying exam Main Exam -- It consists of written examination and interview. |

Dear friend you are not eligible to apply IPS officer after completing 12th class.
If you want to apply IPS officer after exam then first you complete your Graduation degree. Because for apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Number of Attempts:- General category candidates - 4 time OBC category Candidates - 7 time SC/ST category candidates - No limit. Physical requirement :- Height: – Male 165 cm (general also) & ST (not the SC/ OBC) – 160 cm Female 150 cm (general also) & ST (not SC/ OBC)- 145 cm Chest :– Male Minimum 84 cm. Expansion 5 cm. Female Min 79 cm expansion 5 cm. Selection procedure :- - Preliminary entrance exam - Main entrance exam - Interview Best of luck...... |
