Can I become a lecturer in a college after scoring 60% in Masters in Philosophy? How useful is the M.Phil degree? Is it ok to directly do Ph.D?
I have a Masters in Philosophy with 60%. I am 42 years old. Could I still become a lecturer in a college? Also how useful is an MPhil degree. Is it ok to directly do PhD?

As a M.Phil you cannot get direct entry to become a lecturer. To become a lecturer in a college you have to appear for the Lectureship NET exam conducted by UGC and clear it. The minimum age limit is 19 years and no upper age limit is there to appear for the NET exam. Regarding Ph.D as you have got 60% in M.Phil so you are eligible for the entrance exam for the Ph.D programme in the relevant subject in every Indian University and institution.

in july 2012 i m going to complete my B.C.A ,I want to make my carrier in acadameics,pls tell me what to do to become a lecturer or a maths teacher in school.and also suggest wht is good 4 me. thank you.
