Re: Can I be eligible for bank clerk after passing 12th with 52%?
You should be graduate to apply for the Bank Clerk job. Therefore the answer is No, you are not eligible for the banking job as for now. Recently the Institute of Banking Personnel Services which conducts the IBPS Bank Clerk exam on behalf of 19 public sector banks has made changes in the eligibility criteria.
Before that it was possible for 12th pass candidate to apply for the Clerk Exam. Now it isn't because on the request of the Public Sector banks, the minimum qualification required is changed to graduation degree. Which is why I will recommend you to apply for the graduation course and only after that think of the banking job. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. You should be of Indian origin. 2. Bachelor degree in any stream. 3. There is no percentage criteria. 4. Diploma/Degree in Computers or IT/Computers should be one of the subjects in high school or college. 5. You should be able to fluently write and speak the official language of the state where you want job. 6. The age limit is 20 to 28 years. 7. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 8. Upto 5 years relaxation for SC and ST. 9. There is 10 years relaxation for PWD. |

To apply for IBPS Bank Clerk job you must have a Graduate in any discipline from a recognised University. As you are just 12th pass means you are not qualified for the IBPS Bank Clerical job. For SBI Clerk 10+2 with 60% is needed but you have got 52 % means you are also not eligible for SBI Clerical job. Hence you have to take admission in a good college for your Graduation and start preparing for the Bank examination while doing Graduation. The age limit for Bank Clerical examination is mentioned below: General Category - 18 to 28 years OBC Category - 18 to 31 years SC/ST Category - 18 to 33 years There is age relaxation of 10 years PWD category . Paper Pattern: The paper is an objective type and will be of 2 hours duration. There will be 5 sections which are Reasoning , Quantitative , English , General Awareness and Computers. There will be negative marks of 0.25 for every wrong answer. You need to pass in each and every section seperately to become eligible for next stage i.e Interview. Dear Friend..
Firstly i make you clear that being only 12th pass with 52% marks.. you are not eligible for bank clerk exam.. Eligibility for bank clerk exam --Student must have passed the graduation or in the final year of graduation. No matter what % you have got in 12th board --must have 20 to 28 years of age.. Relaxation will be given to SC,ST and OBC candidates.. >>So its better firstly do the graduation degree and then prepare for bank clerk exam.. All the best.. |
