Re: Can I be eligible to write government railway exam? I am a final year CSE student
There are different railway exams conducted every year by different zones of railway department and each exam requires separate eligibility criteria to have from a candidate to apply for that is why you are eligible for various exams and not for some exams :
List of examinations in railways which you are eligible for : >> Indian Railways Ticket collector examination : A candidate who have passed class 10th is eligible to apply for this job but age of the candidate should be between 18-30 years. >> Indian Railways Junior Clerk Recruitment : All candidates passed intermediate from a recognized board are eligible but age should not be more than 28 years. >> Indian Railways Group D Examinations : Class 10th passed candidates are eligible for various posts under Group D and age of the candidates should not be less than 18 years and more than 33 years. >> Indian Railways Police Force Constable Exam : All candidates passed class intermediate from a recognized board are eligible to apply but age should be maximum 30 years. Railways examination which you are not eligible for : >> Indian Railways Assistant Station Master Examination : A candidate passed graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university is eligible to apply but age should be maximum 30 years. >> Indian Railways Junior Engineer Examination : Candidate should have a diploma or degree in relevant discipline of engineering - Electrical/ Electronics/ Communication/ IT/ Computer/ Civil/ Mechanical from a recognized university and age should not be more than 28 years. >> Indian Railways Assistant Loco Pilot Recruitment : A candidate having Diploma/ ITI in various trades related to technical field or engineering degree/ diploma in civil/ mechanical/ electrical are eligible to apply. >> Railways Technician Grade II Recruitment : A candidate having ITI in various discipline is eligible to apply. So first of all you need to apply for those exams which you are eligible for and start preparation and when you complete your degree then prepare for technical and non technical examination which comes under your qualification. |
