Dear friend yes you can apply if you belong to any reservation quota ,because for general minimum criteria is 50% in 12th always demand.............

but some where you can apply where needed only 45% then you are eligible for bank exam ........but this is in rare case.............

but you should try................

Normally the minimum requirement is 55%. In private banks it is 60%. Even for those from SC/ST the relaxation is maximum of 3-5%. So you will not be eligible with this score. You can if you desire take a masters course. Make sure to have a good score in the same and then apply.

Since you have secured 48% marks in B.com, you can not apply for any PO post in banks.

Because the criteria for PO post in banks are:

1. You should have a minimum of 55% marks throughout your graduation (5% relaxation for SC/ST)

2. Your age should be between 21 years and 30 years.

So you can not apply on the basis of graduation marks.

And you can not apply for the clerk jobs in banks because you have already crossed the age limit I think, though for that the educational criteria is 60% in 12th.

So all in all, you can not apply for any bank jobs.

dear friend,
My friend as you have secured less than 60% aggregate in B.com then you will not be eligible to apply for any banking sector jobs..

Eligibility for Bank PO exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation with 60% aggregate..
For SC/ST the percentage relaxation is 5%..

2.Candidates age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

As you have secured very less marks in B.com then you are not eligible for banking exams.

All the best.

If you want banking job then apply for the IBPS Clerk entrance exam. There is no need to pursue further education. The Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts the entrance exam for 19 Banks.

Each of the 19 Banks are Public Sector banks which means government banks. Since you don't have sufficient marks to appear for the IBPS Bank PO, the only option is IBPS Clerk entrance exam.

The exam is conducted twice a year. First time in March and once towards the end of the year.

IBPS Clerk Eligibility

1. You should be citizen of Republic of India.

2. Bachelor's degree should have been obtained.

3. There is no percentage criteria.

4. Diploma/degree in Computers is required.

5. Alternatively you can apply if took Computer Science subject in 12th or college.

6. Your age should be between 20 to 28 years.

7. 3 years relaxation for OBC.

8. 5 years relaxation for SC/ST.

9. 10 years relaxation for PWD.

List of 19 Banks

Allahabad Bank

Andhra Bank

Bank of Baroda

Bank of Maharashtra

Bank of India

Central Bank of India

Canara Bank

Dena Bank

Corporation Bank

Indian Overseas Bank

Indian Bank

Punjab National Bank

Oriental Bank of Commerce

Syndicate Bank

Punjab & Sind Bank

United Bank of India

Union Bank of India

Vijaya Bank

UCO Bank

If you are not interested in clerk job then you should complete MBA course in Finance or Banking for better jobs including Bank Manager job. If you belong to General/OBC category then you cannot appear for the Common Admission Test. You will have to apply for the Management Aptitude Test.

However if you are from SC/ST then apply for the Common Admission Test and try to seek admission in Indian Institutes of Management.
